Karissa Joos began wedding/event planning after planning her own September 2010 wedding. A recent graduate of the Penn Foster Career School program in Professional Bridal Consulting, Karissa focuses on day-of-coordination in the Albany, New York area, for all weddings and wedding related events, including same-sex marriages, commitment ceremonies, showers, etc. Karissa's main focus is making sure the day of the event is coordinated and as flawless as possible, allowing the bride and groom to enjoy their day as a guest, without any concern or worry.

In April 2011, Karissa began writing a Bridal Style blog for Examiner.com, focusing on wedding attire trends and where to find them locally.
